A perfect balance of talent and beauty, we would love to call her ‘Nightangle’-Miss Arunita Sinha
famous for her
singing and her sober personality.
Arunita is the winner of western group song and Indian Group Song at Association of Indian Universities popularly known as AIU.

Arunita says” I
was very much passionate for singing since childhood....but LPU gave me the
opportunity to explore my talent”
Her Chachaji(Uncle) and her parents are her topmost inspirations, while in singing Arunita’s vitual Guru is the living legend Lata Mangeshkar herself while famous Celine Deon also inspires her a lot.
“I first participated
in talent hunt and stood 2nd after that I went to singing classes at
DSA to continue my practice....and from there I was directly selected for north
zone AIU championship which was the beginning of my career” says Arunita.
Mr. Vinni sir and Mr.Monu sir were the pathfinders who described
her vast level of AIU competitions.
Talking about her hard work Arunita Says, “I started
feeling special and lucky as I was selected for AIU but me and my group had to
work very hard to achieve the goal. And ultimately-‘ Mehnat ka fal Meetah hi
hua’.
Her story never stopped as she was selected for the Title

Describing her journey in Verto Arunita says, “for the journey of Verto my “Marg Darshak" was Sri Deepak Jha Sir (COD, DYC) who selected me for the first season of the album”

She couldn’t participate in the 2nd season
album as she was ill but she never loosed her spirit and did the chorus part of
the track.
When asked about the two special persons for whom she
will always be thankful , Arunita says:
“I shall always be thankful to the Worthy Pro-Chancellor LPU, Head DSA and Mrs. Suman Sharma (COD Dept. of Cultural Affairs) for their support and motivation.”

Talking about her special achievements she has recorded a
total of 10 songs at professional level for which she extend her gratitude to
Mr. Shiv Kumar, of (BMA) Bollywood Music Academy.
Sharing her 'Success
Mantra', Arunita says “The success of a person is impossible without the
support of the society in which he lives, and I am fortunate to live in a
society which encouraged me to go with my interest and make it my aim”
Arunita has been quite famous these days for her Tv-interview
(live) in a state channel “Khabar 365"
When asked about her favorite song she says “I can’t
state any single song as my favorite as my day starts with music and ends with
music, I love each and every song”
Music is her biggest strength and she aims to become a
playback singer as well as an entertainer in the field of Music..

Jhankaar Famous Personality of the Week
Popularly known for the famous track of Verto –“Badlenge kal ko”
Shubhendu says” I still remember the Freshmen Induction where everybody was
being called on stage for on spot Singing Performance.
‘Koi Diwana Kehta Hai Koi Pagal Samajhta Hai’ the famous line by
Dr.Kumar Biswas was what he sung first time in LPU. Shubhendu describes: “I
never participated in any of the Singing Competitions as I never wanted to
become a part of the crowd rather I opted to form my own band named ROOH in the
first year itself”.
It is said that nothing great can be achieved without the support of
friends, Shubhendu says that his friend Mr. Brijesh Temurkar( A very well known
drummer) always inspired him, said him that he can sing even better to what he
sings.
ARMAGADON was the event when the band ROOH became winner while
Shubhendu was persuing 3rd year of his Btech-ME Degree.
He describers” I simply sung the very famous song Aadat, of the famous
singer Aatif Aslam and that made it”.
Talking about the key for his successful journey from a Stage performer
to the Lead Singer Verto, Shubhendu extends his warm gratitude to Dr. Sorabh
Lakhanpal, Head Division of Student Affairs,LPU who was very much impressed by
his singing and offered him to sing songs of the album.
“I was too a mere singer, but it was Sir who gave wings to my dreams,
he is the person who realizes the real talents, I was nothing without his
support-he is god to me for that in fact” says Shubhendu.
The Album Verto 2013-2014 resulted to be a blast success when the whole
country sung along and matched along with the rhymes ” Badlenge kal ko..we are
the vertoes” as much times as it appeared on the TV and hence the whole of the
verto team was felicitated with live concert by Indian Idol fame Miss.Sheena
Chawla.
Shubhedu’s next song of the album is all set to be launched this year, He says” It was again a great experience at the recording studio”
Currently the singer is pursuing his MBA at LPU and wishes to become a
next gen Marketing Executive.
When asked about ultimate career choice, Shubhendu Says: At first I
would try to achieve a strong base by securing job in marketing, and when I
will have enough resources to stand alone I would finally dedicate my whole
time to music.
For up comers, Shubhendu Says: “ When you are at LPU, you are at the
best place of the world, feel proud for your choice and try to get the best out
of here, as this is the only place which provides you the best exposure in
extracurricular activities along with academics”
